What is Instamix Live?

Instamix Live is a collaborative songwriting experience where legendary artists and participants gather in a studio, venue, or room for 4-8 hours to write and demo a complete song together. Featured artists lead the creative process while involving everyone in the room.

Instamix Live was co-founded by Jose Urquiza and Morgan Rose, drummer of the legendary metal band Sevendust.

Past Instamix Live sessions have featured world-class musicians including Bumblefoot (former Guns N' Roses guitarist), Lajon Witherspoon and John Connolly from Sevendust, Aaron Nordstrom from Gemini Syndrome, Jason Christopher (formerly of Prong), and bands like SAUL, Burden of the Sky, 3 Years Hollow, and Candlelight Red.

1. Platform Overview

Instamix Live is a collaborative music creation platform where artists and fans come together to create music in real-time. We host live songwriting sessions, offer exclusive content, and sell digital and physical merchandise.

2. Digital Assets and NFT Ownership

Instamix Live may offer digital assets, including but not limited to MP3s, exclusive content, merchandise, and signed items that are tokenized as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) on the Solana blockchain.

2.1 Ownership Transfer Fee

All secondary sales and ownership transfers of Instamix Live digital assets are subject to a 20% transfer fee. This fee is automatically enforced through our Solpass integration and the Solana blockchain smart contract.

Transfer Fee Policy:

A 20% fee is required on all ownership transfers
The fee must be paid via our Solpass integration before transfer completion
Ownership will not be transferred to the buyer until the fee is paid in full
Access to unlockable content will only be granted after successful fee payment and ownership transfer
This fee applies to all digital assets, including music files, exclusive content, and tokenized merchandise

2.2 Unlockable Content

Certain digital assets may include unlockable content such as:

High-quality audio files (FLAC, WAV)
Behind-the-scenes footage
Exclusive artist interviews
Early access to new releases
Virtual meet-and-greet opportunities

Important: Buyers will only receive access to unlockable content after the 20% transfer fee has been paid and ownership has been successfully transferred through Solpass.

3. Purchases and Payments

All purchases are processed securely through our payment integration. By making a purchase, you agree to:

Provide accurate payment information
Pay all applicable fees, including the 20% transfer fee for secondary sales
Comply with blockchain transaction requirements when purchasing tokenized assets
Understand that blockchain transactions are irreversible

4. Intellectual Property

All music, content, and materials created during Instamix Live sessions are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Purchasing a digital asset grants you:

Personal, non-commercial use rights
The right to resell the digital asset (subject to the 20% transfer fee)
Access to unlockable content associated with the asset

You do NOT receive rights to:

Reproduce or distribute the content commercially
Create derivative works without express permission
Use the content for streaming or public performance without proper licensing

5. User Conduct

Users of Instamix Live agree to:

Respect all artists, creators, and community members
Not engage in fraudulent activity or attempt to circumvent transfer fees
Not share or distribute purchased content in violation of these terms
Maintain the security of their wallet and account credentials

6. Refunds and Returns

Due to the nature of digital assets and blockchain transactions, all sales are final. Refunds will only be issued in cases of technical error or as required by law. The 20% transfer fee is non-refundable once paid.

7. Limitation of Liability

Instamix Live is not responsible for:

Blockchain network issues or transaction failures
Loss of wallet credentials or private keys
Market value fluctuations of digital assets
Technical issues with third-party wallet providers

8. Changes to Terms

Instamix Live reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
